Norditropin® will be the only preferred growth hormone for all ConnectiCare members starting Jan. 1, 2017.
Any preauthorization approvals you may have received for your patients for any other non-preferred growth hormones will be honored through Dec. 31, but after Jan. 1, only Norditropin will be approved.
We have sent letters to patients who may be affected and called their prescribing doctors. If you haven't received a call from us and you have a patient who is taking a growth hormone, please make sure to give them updated prescriptions for Norditropin.
