FARMINGTON, CT (February 24, 2023) – ConnectiCare, a leading health plan in Connecticut, has reached an agreement with Prospect Medical Holdings that will keep Prospect hospitals and doctors in network. Prospect hospitals include Waterbury Hospital, Manchester Memorial Hospital, and Rockville General Hospital. Also included is Prospect Provider Group Connecticut, the Prospect Professional Provider IPA (Independent Physician Association). ConnectiCare members may continue to get covered in-network care with Prospect hospitals and physician groups.
Members and providers should disregard the termination notice dated January 26, 2023. There will be no lapse in participation.
Prospect worked with ConnectiCare to settle this matter. “We’re pleased we were able to reach an agreement so our members can continue to access care at Prospect hospitals on an in-network basis,” said Erik Johnson, Vice President, Provider Network and Population Health at ConnectiCare.
