Who qualifies - and how?

Access Health CT can help you find out if you qualify for financial help. There are two ways that people can get help:

Advanced premium tax credit (APTC)

This is a tax credit that you get in the form of a lower monthly premium for health insurance

Cost share reduction (CSR)

A discount on what you pay in deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. Sometimes you’ll hear CSRs called “extra savings.” If you qualify, you must enroll in a plan in the Silver category to get the extra savings.

Federal subsidy information

Subsidy eligibility and amounts are based on your family size and household income. If your household income is currently less than the amounts listed below for your family size, you may qualify for financial help.

For ConnectiCare plans offered through Access Health CT, coverage is underwritten by ConnectiCare Benefits, Inc. only, not by Access Health CT.
