Updated implementation dates Effective Nov. 1, 2026, TurningPoint Healthcare Solutions, LLC (TurningPoint) will administer the Musculoskeletal Surgical Quality and Safety Management Program for ConnectiCare Marketplace and Medicare members. Prior authorization for medical necessity and appropriate length of stay (when applicable) will be required for orthopedic and spinal surgical procedures. Beginning Oct. 1, 2026, physicians will be able to submit prior authorization requests to TurningPoint for dates of service on or after Nov. 1, 2026.
