UPDATE: Effective July 18, 2026, ConnectiCare now accepts attachments for reconsideration requests.
Availity Essentials is the portal to use to submit claims with file attachments for ConnectiCare Marketplace and Medicare members.
When ConnectiCare requests additional information (i.e. itemized bills, medical records, unlisted claim forms, etc.), and:
- If a claim is finalized (paid, denied, or partially denied), you need to submit a corrected claim with the attachment(s) using the corrected claim function.
- If a claim is pending/in process, you need to submit a corrected claim with the attachment(s) using the claim status inquiry function to find the correct claim.
