Looking for a plan?

Open enrollment for 2024 individual and family plans has ended. But in some cases, you can enroll in a health plan outside of the annual open enrollment period.

To be eligible, you must have what's called a "qualifying life event," such as losing coverage due to a job change or coming off a parent's plan. These events may make you eligible for a Special Enrollment Period.*

You have a limited amount of time from the date of the qualifying life event to enroll or change your plan. So, don’t delay.

Note: Only plans purchased through Access Health CT qualify for premium tax credits.

*This is intended to be used for general information purposes only and should not be relied upon as containing complete information regarding special enrollment periods or eligibility criteria for enrollment. An individual will not be enrolled under a special enrollment period until an application is completed, reviewed, and sufficient proof of an individual’s qualifying event is provided.
