ConnectiCare's value-added service for employers,
delivered by ConnectiCare Worksite Wellness.
Productivity, profitability and efficiency are the three top goals of our employer groups. Since the most productive employees are healthy employees, one of our top goals is to help employers strengthen their workforces by keeping their employees well.
"Wellness at Work" brings the latest health information from registered dietitians, nurses or exercise physiologists directly to employees-along with proven ways to break away from harmful habits and patterns. With your help, we can promote our low- or no-cost, on-site wellness programs to improve the health and lives of all the members we serve.
Who's eligible and program cost
Large groups: If your group has 51 or more ConnectiCare members and
fully-insured, it is eligible for two complimentary Lunch & Learn Wellness
Programs upon renewal. New fully-insured large groups are eligible for the following three complimentary programs during their first year: A 2-hour blood pressure screening, "Taking Care of Your Back" workshop and the choice of one of these Lunch & Learn
Programs - "Heart Healthy Eating," "Forever Young" or "Feeding Frenzy."

You or your groups can also purchase additional programs at any time. The problem is, many groups don't realize these programs are available or take the time to have us coordinate them. This is a simple, value-added benefit you can provide for your employees. Here's how you can offer the wellness advantage.
How it works
Simply select the program of your group's choice from the program list below and complete the information on the Wellness Registration Form. We'll do the rest.
ConnectiCare's most popular wellness programs
All workshops are taught by a registered dietitian, nurse or exercise physiologist. We will coordinate with you to provide them during your company's work hours.

| Corporate Wellness Programs |
| Title |
Description |
| The Balancing Act |
Participants learn to tip the scales in their favor by designing their own eating/exercise
plans. Rated "tops" by past participants. |
| Medical Self-Care |
Designed to provide tips on becoming a smart, informed health care consumer. Employees are empowered to make better health care decisions. |
| Smokenders |
Through a multi-pronged approach to quitting, we help smokers redirect their urges while reducing nicotine intake. "Graduates" prevent relapse and weight gain. |
| Birth Expectations Series |
Six classes get expectant parents ready for parenthood. Participants learn about sound nutrition, nurturing skills and many practical basics such as calming a fussy infant. Not just for first-time parents! |
| Personalized
Computer Profile |
Participants complete questionnaires about personal and family medical history and current lifestyle practices. Confidential, personalized reports reveal what participants are doing right and which health behaviors could use improvement. |
| Body Fat Analysis |
Since a high percentage of body fat can reduce the rate of metabolism and lead to unwanted pounds, this infrared analysis provides valuable insight and tips. |
| Lunch & Learn |
Food for thought on a variety of timely health topics served fresh and hot in your employer's cafeteria or lounge (each is one-hour long). The cost for these workshops is approximately $175 each, unless already covered as one of the value-added benefits offered to new and renewing
fully-insured large groups. View topics.
