Does ConnectiCare cover health insurance for individuals? Yes, as of January, 2005, ConnectiCare introduced its HMO and POS product portfolio for individuals. There are 18 plan design options available to meet the needs of your clients. The applicants are medically underwritten - accept or deny only. In Connecticut only, group coverage is available to self-enployed individuals who work full-time (30 hours per week minimum) and have been operating in business for three consecutive months. You can obtain more information on these programs by contacting your Small Group Sales Representative or through the Chamber Insurance Trust (CIT) Program by calling 1-800-953-4467 (must be a member of your local Chamber of Commerce).
