I am working with a ConnectiCare group and wish to be listed as agent of record (AOR). What do I do?
ConnectiCare will accept and process agent of record changes that are received, in writing, by ConnectiCare groups. Producers cannot assign themselves as agents of record on ConnectiCare groups. (However, ConnectiCare will accept agent of record changes from producers who are assigning one or more of his/her groups to another producer).

How long do AOR changes take to be in effect?
For Small Groups, if a newly assigned producer is appointed, ConnectiCare will process the request as of the first of the month following receipt of the agent of record letter from the group, regardless of whether or not there is a producer currently listed. If a newly assigned producer is not appointed, ConnectiCare will reject the request.

For groups with 51+ eligible employees and a current producer, if a newly assigned producer is appointed, ConnectiCare will process the request as of the first of the month following receipt of the agent of record letter from the group. If there is no current producer listed and if the newly assigned producer is appointed, ConnectiCare will process the request as of the groups’ next renewal date. If the newly assigned producer is not appointed, ConnectiCare will reject the request.
