What does a member receive after they enroll with ConnectiCare??
Members of ConnectiCare will receive a Member Kit as well as HouseCall, ConnectiCare's member newsletter at their home address. The Member Kit includes an Identification Card, Benefit Summary, Out-of Plan Reimbursement Form (POS members only) and Prescription Drug coverage information and Mail Order Forms.

How do I interpret ConnectiCare's premium invoice?

When are groups billed and when is premium due?
ConnectiCare's premium bills are issued and sent to Employer Groups by the 15th of the previous month. For example, the invoice for February is issued by the 15th of January. The premium is due by the first of the month for which the invoice applies. The due date is indicated on the
summary page next to the "Invoice Date.".

Do groups need to include the new remittance coupon with their payment?
Yes.  By including the remittance coupon, it will help ensure accuracy of cash posting and more timely cash application.

What if the invoice does not reflect an adjustment the group expected?
The group needs to pay as indicated.  The adjustments that do not appear on the current invoice will be reflected in the invoice for the following month.  The cutoff for submitting new enrollments, additions or terminations to the bill is the end of the monthly prior to the group's current billing cycle.  Example: Applications received by August 31 should appear on the October bill.

How does a group know what they owe?
The amount due for each bill period is indicated under "Total Amount Due" at the bottom of the
summary page on the remittance coupon.
