Paul A. Bluestein, M.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, ConnectiCare
Biography:
As Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Bluestein provides strategic and tactical direction related to medical management, quality management, physician education, pharmacy services and disease management programs. He has operational responsibility for all of ConnectiCare’s Health Services departments and acts as external liaison and representative of ConnectiCare to state and national committees.

Prior to joining ConnectiCare in 1994, Dr. Bluestein was Vice President, Managed Care for NYH Care Network, , a subsidiary of New York Hospital and before that, National Medical Director and National Director of Quality Improvement for the MetLife Managed Care Services Group. His career in healthcare management and as a practicing physician spans nearly 30 years.
