ConnectiCare Raises $104,000 for the United Way

Farmington, CT - ConnectiCare employees raised $104,000 for the 2009 United Way Campaign. Since 1998, ConnectiCare has contributed $1,465,500 to the United Way Community Campaign.

ConnectiCare President and CEO Mickey Herbert stated, “The United Way is our company’s most important opportunity to give back to the community each year. I am proud to announce that over 88% of ConnectiCare employees participated in this year’s campaign.” Stephanie Urcinas, Human Resource Consultant and Jerry Queen, Director of Amisys Transaction Systems were our 2009 Campaign Co-Chairs.

Over the past several years, ConnectiCare has been recognized by the United Way for its leadership and innovative approaches to fundraising – establishing ourselves as one of the top two contributors in the Medical Division. Employees lead a series of fun events throughout the campaign to support giving.
