Recognition Showcases ConnectiCare’s Commitment to the Customer Experience

The only Connecticut health plan to win a top award, ConnectiCare has received an eHealthcare Leadership Award for “Best Overall Internet Site.” The award highlights ConnectiCare’s continued success in providing an exceptional experience for their members. Five health plans nationally were given the top honor of “Best Overall Internet Site.”
Fathom’s redesign of ConnectiCare.com included new architecture and more intuitive areas to help members easily and quickly navigate through the site. The next phase of the site will include a brand new portal for providers with more valuable content and user-friendly, interactive tools.

Having the website specifically identified as ‘Best Overall’ is a huge honor. Our website is often the first line of contact with our customers so it’s important that it presents a clean, functional and user-friendly experience consistent with our strong reputation.”
According to eHealthcare Leadership Awards, over 1,100 entries were received from a wide range of healthcare organizations. Factors for winning the ‘Best Overall’ category include delivery of strong health content, interactivity, medical care support, integration with the organization's operations, as well as strength of Web design and ease of navigation.
“Every year, competition is especially strong in the large hospital, healthcare system, and managed care classifications, and 2008 is no exception,” says Mark Gothberg, eHealthcare Leadership Awards chairman.
For the awards, judges looked at how sites compared with their peers. They also reviewed sites based on a proprietary multi-point standard of Internet excellence. The best intranetsite category, for example, had to pass muster on more than 60 factors.
