ConnectiCare Ranked #1 Among State HMOs for Customer Complaint Record

Farmington, CT – The Connecticut Insurance Department has released the annual rankings of HMO figures from 2007. ConnectiCare was ranked number 1 for having the least number of justified complaints of all health plans in Connecticut. This is the 3rd consecutive year in a row for ConnectiCare to earn this top honor.

ConnectiCare’s CEO Mickey Herbert stated, “We are a customer service focused company. We work very hard to give our customers exceptional service and help navigate the complex health system for them. We want our customers to know they can count on us.”

The rankings include HMOs against whom justified or questionable complaints have been recorded. The company with the lowest complaint ratio is ranked number one. The rankings reports may be found on the Connecticut Insurance Department website www.ct.gov/cid
