Does ConnectiCare cover health insurance for individuals?
Coverage is not available to an individual who does not own his/her own firm. Coverage is available to self-employed individuals who work full-time (30 hours per week minimum) and have been operating in business for three consecutive months. A full array of products is available to these groups in Connecticut. You can get more information on these programs and the benefits of joining your local Chamber of Commerce through the Chamber Insurance Trust (CIT) Program by calling 1-800-953-4467, or a local Chamber of Commerce.

Does ConnectiCare cover part-time employees?
No, part-time coverage is not available. Employees must work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
